ตัวอุปกรณ์ออกแบบสำหรับติดตั้ง Outdoor มีเสาอากาศ Cellular ภายใน 9 ชุด และมีระบบช่วยจัดแนวเสาอากาศผ่าน Omada App เพื่อช่วยหาตำแหน่งรับสัญญาณที่เหมาะสม การติดตั้งนอกอาคารช่วยลดปัญหาสัญญาณอ่อนจากผนัง กระจก หรือจุดอับภายในอาคาร
อุปกรณ์มีพอร์ต RJ45 2.5G จำนวน 1 พอร์ต ใช้รับไฟผ่าน 802.3at PoE หรือ Passive PoE ได้ ทำให้เดินสาย LAN เพียงเส้นเดียวสำหรับทั้ง Data และ Power เหมาะกับงานติดตั้งบนเสา ผนัง หรือบริเวณหน้าต่าง
ER701-5G-Outdoor รองรับการจัดการผ่าน Omada App, Omada Central, Omada Hardware Controller และ Omada Software Controller ช่วยให้ผู้ดูแลระบบตรวจสอบสถานะ ตั้งค่า และบริหารจัดการอุปกรณ์ร่วมกับระบบ Omada ได้จากศูนย์กลาง
